San Francisco Art Openings: Lo-Fi Customs Gallery

LO-FI CUSTOMS: INKSLINGER SHOOTOUT
OPENING 05.13.04

Comment: Lo-Fi is the lowest-- lower than a snail's ass at the bottom of the sea, and a delightful respite from society's pretense, poseurs, and puffery. It's down-home folks havin' a good time, making their own way-- with a sense of humor-- and being pretty damn creative about it. Tonite, it's art by Bay Area tatooists of the female persuasion. The art's not confined to the walls, by the way; it's walkin' all over the place. Next time you're in the neighborhood (or on the internet), stop by Lo-Fi for art, custom bikes, parts, accessories, t-shirts, hoodies, rock posters, and other fashion essentials for urban edgies. Don't fret, couture queens; Lo-Fi custom prints much of their own stuff, so you won't be finding the same beanie for less at Wilkes.

Artist/Artists: Karina Figueroa, Sweet Cicely, Ms. Mikki, Tex.
