      Johansson Projects : Flaming Furbelows.

Review by John Casey: Kate Eric is the collaborative identity of Kate Tedman and Eric Siemens. Together they create detailed yet organic paintings that are reminiscent of biological microscopic landscapes. Marina Vendrell Renaut builds sculpture out of recycled fur coats, yarn balls, and stuffed animals. Her sculptures are simultaneously inviting and repulsive.

Hatch Gallery : You Wouldn't Know Contemporary Art If It Slapped Us in the Face.

Review by John Casey: Hatch Gallery responds to the confusion of today's contemporary art scene with a group show offering of video, painting, drawing, animation and sculpture, together presented on a platform of group installation. Group drawings are available for sale by the square foot.

Featuring the work of Ross Campbell, Maliea Croy, Sarina Eastman, Stephan Key, Cat Lauigan, Amy Morrell, Emma Spertus, and Jeff Stratford.

Fort Gallery : Jon Carling - Luddite Porchlite.

Review by John Casey: Fort Gallery presents another strong solo show featuring the drawings of Jon Carling. The artist is present manning a table full of prints of the originals. A good affordable alternative during these tough economic times.
