Comment by AB: A group exhibition of contemporary Irish art. Best of show? Lorraine Burrell dresses up as a homemade cardboard electrical plug and without the benefit of vision, endeavors to fit her floppy prongs into a large rendition of a wall socket. Will she succeed? High drama in artland.

Review by RWM: Odd and strange dudes and dudettes. Maybe it's not them, but rather their environment.
Comment by AB: In the main gallery Travis Collinson's hypnotic big-eyed contemplatives may well have gotten their start with Margaret Keane. You can't help but lock eyes with these wistful spirits and cogitate on what might be marinating in their brains. In the project space, Aubrey Learner's insect erotica is certain to engage. Certainly worth a visit.

ArtZone 461 Gallery : Road Trip - Heidi McDowell; Stan Washburn - Museum Perspectives.
Review by RWM: Heidi McDowell's striking industrial buildings interject themselves into the scenery of this trip through America, their characteristics accentuated with atmospheric lighting. They each seem to have their own stories. Great skies and other unusual stops along the way highlight her travels.
In the art of Stan Washburn, we enjoy quiet time at museums. Grand paintings adorn the walls, some which you may recognize. Nudist night at one museum surprisingly does not draw the crowds. Things might have been different had they all been depicted by Picasso.
