Center for Sex and Culture : From the Golden Age of Porn - The Photography of Paul Johnson.

Comment by AB: Back in the 1960s and 70s, San Francisco was the vortex of the American porn industry. The photographs by Paul Johnson on exhibit here recount that era, dating from circa 1968-1983, and feature such porn legends as Nina Hartley and Aunt Peg. Vintage erotic imagery at its finest; sorry I can't show you more. Guess that means you'll have to come and see for yourself. Don't worry-- you won't be disappointed. The Center is selling vintage black and white stills for $5 each or three for $10. Not sure how many they have left...

Canessa Gallery : Journey Into Climate - Michael Morrison.

Comment by AB: Scientific researcher and explorer Michael Morrison shows photographs and an actual tent from some of his cold climate journeys. He tells me that his current body of work focuses more on adventure than it does on research and climate change, adding that the majority of research has already been done. We pretty much know where we're head and what we have to do about it. His book, Journey into Climate, is available for purchase at the Gallery and also available online as an eBook.
