Comment: Brian Barneclo paints street life, neighborhoods, hanging out, city scenes, ordinary people. He transforms glamourless mundanities into colored up, gritty, funkified fantasies. You can almost hear the music. This is the kind of stuff you might see in a commercial space or a clean minimal interior, particularly the big ones, not terribly heavy on message or meaning, but the ingredients are there for a long and profitable run. One wonders how this slow-bake will culminate. Barneclo art is priced real right, by the way. You can take home some substantial acreage for as little as a couple hundred bucks.
