Comment: Graffiti artist Cycle, currently residing in New York City, has been working surfaces for a long time, coast to coast, here and in Canada, at least since 1990. According to his lengthy bio, and lore of the discipline, he's achieved old-school-legend status along with its incumbent privilege. He's got an MFA, been featured in books and magazines, and has design experience in fashion and skateboards. His art ranges from basic wall-spray to relatively complex stream-of-consciousness paintings, a number with 70's sitcom references. He's also got a following, some of whom spilled onto the street in front of the gallery and, shall we say, explored the considerable realm of art opening modes of comportment. Price range: $40-$1000.
