Comment by AB: A former news kiosk on Market Street has been reincarnated into what may well be the world's smallest artist book/zine shop. Tonight, Edicola celebrate's the release of Jenny Odell's book, "I Hate to Part With It," a tome immortalizing a selection of treasures that Craigslist sellers describe with the phrase "I hate to part with it." Do they really hate to part with it or are they just trying to squeeze hapless buyers for more mazumah? Contemplate that weighty question here. Not sure what Edicola's hours are, but it's worth a visit.

Comment by AB: Hap Leonard has been photographing disowned sofas for so long that he's cultivated a network of informers who tip him off to the locations of the latest abandonments. From there, it's a race to see whether he photograph them before the Department of Public Works hauls them off to the dump. Life can be exciting in many many ways. Also on the docket are adept abstractions by Silvia Poloto.
