Ever Gold Gallery : Mark Mulroney - It's Nice Outside.

Comment by AB: Mark Mulroney waxes kinda campy, occasionally crass and at times sexually suggestive in his entertaining takes on Matisse cutouts. Good show.

Patricia Sweetow Gallery : Kim Anno - West; Gail Wight - The Spider and the Fly; Gale Antokal - EXO.

Comment by AB: This is good. Three professors demonstrate their qualifications to profess... and plenty more. Mystical pastels of pearls and propellers by Gale Antokal shimmer with luxurious iridescence, while Gail Wight digitally collages insect parts into elaborate otherworldly florals, and Kim Anno presents wistful posed coastal photogs and bobbles our brains with her twisty renditions of cities bathed in crazy rainbow overlays. Overall, a delight for the eyes.

Alter Space : Serpents of the Rainbow - Shiri Mordechay.

Comment by AB: This is a killer installation and one of the best shows I've seen in a while. The amount thought, work and care that must have gone into pullling this off right is difficult to comprehend. So much to look at, so much detail, so delicate and sculptural, so many places to go, adventures to have and fantasies to lose yourself in. This show just keeps on going and going... and giving and giving. Love it. Pick of the Month.
