Guerrero Gallery : Richard Colman - Something Better; Well, Time Makes Fools Of Us All - Ryan Travis Christian.
Review by Clare Coppel: Richard Colman's graphic black and white paintings as well as installations make you feel like you're part of someone esle's hallucinations (I think I would like it even more if they were rooms you could walk into; then you could become completely involved in the piece). Nice work like this makes me want to use the word "borque."
Ryan Travis Christian's show, "Well, Time Makes Fools of Us All" (and indeed it does), presents incredibly detailed graphite and ink works composed of tiny abstract shapes and checkers, and seasoned with ships, cartoon animal girls, bikinis, explosions and more. Makes me really nostalgic for things I can and can't remember. And accompanied by a good artist statement; I like to know what work is about.

Gallery Hijinks : I'm Here Now - Mark Warren Jacques.
Review by Clare Coppel: Bright shapes and colors both domestic and from outer space, and in graphic detail. A big blue sign says "HERE" just in case you get lost or forget where you are (which, in fact, happens to me quit often).
Review by RWM: Nice majestic canvases with geometric imagery. One can get pulled in by the detailed elements of the works. There are also stars and bright colors which keep they eyes active. The constructed images are beautiful in their contrasting colors.
