McLoughlin Gallery : Portals of Wonder - Pia Maria Martin and Michael Garlington & Natalia Bertotti
Comment by AB: Michael Garlington and Natalia Bertotti team up to create romantic fantasies often in Victorian and Pictorialist traditions. However the show is also laced with a conspicuous dose of socio-political commentary. Frost it all off with elaborate crucifixes and handmade frames containing everything from twigs and broken glass to dead birds and ceramic fragments, and you got yourself a seriously superb show. Definitely worth a visit.
