Comment by AB: The venerable Precita Eyes mural arts organization is so way off the radar, hardly anybody knows they exist... and they've been around for 35 years. I happen to stumble upon this fundraiser on the way back to my car from the several other downtown shows this afternoon. Pure dumb luck. C'mon Precita Eyes; get it together. Email the usual suspects, get your events listed and increase your turnout (and support). You've got a lot of good art up for auction this evening, and this is all about fundraising, right? Well, the more attention you garner and the more people who attend events like this-- for an eminently worthy cause, I might add-- the more funds you raise. Simple, isn't it?
