Fraenkel Gallery : Gary Winogrand - circa 1969.

Comment by AB: A gritty nostalgic look back at tumultuous times in America by Gary Winogrand. In the interior gallery, don't miss Katy Grannan's heroic portraits of our most disadvantaged citizens.

Toomey Tourell Gallery : Marilyn Levin - Cycles of Time.

Comment by AB: This new body of work by Boston artist Marilyn Levin is inspired by a residency she spent in India and by Hindu beliefs, principles and philosophies.

Scott Nichols Gallery : The Summer Show.

Photographers: Johnny Ace, Roger Minick, Ansel Adams, Ben Nixon, Horace Bristol, Said Nuseibeh, Keith Carter, Michael Rauner, Ron Church, Alan Ross, Monica Denevan, John Sexton, William Garnett, Peter Stackpole, John Goodman, Brett Weston, Rolfe Horn, Edward Weston, Yousuf Karsh, Joel Peter Witkin, Niniane Kelley, Michael Zagaris, Mark Klett, Robert Zuckerman, Mona Kuhn, Niniane Kelley.

Review by Larissa Archer: Niniane Kelley's tintypes are the rare example of a return to an old analog form that seems to have an aesthetic purpose beyond mere nostalgia. She really paints with darkness and light, and portrays the body with an almost Hellenic sense of grace and proportion in an unpredictable and sometimes unforgiving medium.

Comment by AB: Also on exhibit is a 75th Anniversary tribute to the Golden Gate Bridge.
