Comment by AB: This is the fourth art opening at The Battery, a private members-only club located in the Jackson Square area of North Beach. The opening night guest list reads like a Who's Who of the San Francisco art community. Pretty much everyone is here.

According to the flier, the meandering group show "is based on a specific scene cultivated in a Capp St. residence in San Francisco, CA." Not a lot to go on, but OK. The art is displayed on three floors of the sprawling establishment but sadly, no photographs are allowed (someone snuck the one of me & Paul Kos posted below).

In my continuing efforts to see more businesses forge more meaningful relationships with the visual arts community, I'd love to do a feature piece on the art program here. In case anyone involved with The Battery is interested, you're welcome to call or email me anytime.
