Review by RWM: Down home UFOs on display, but you better have an invite before strolling on by, and be sure to get official clearance before you eat the food. Esther Pearl Watson's art is far from slick and will perhaps remind you of the renderings from your formative days. The dream comes through, or maybe for some, a nightmare from out of the scary skies. The subjects, though fantastic and childlike, are actually also for adults.
Comment by AB: Esther Pearl Watson grew up with a father who actually built flying saucers-- with engines and moving parts and everything. Her reminiscences in paint make for an endearing continuation of a very odd saga. Unfortunately, her prices are as out of this world as her subject matters. Peppy endeavors nevertheless. In the rear gallery, enjoy Mark Todd's art based on vintage comic book covers.

Review by RWM: Great environmental show with meticulous re-workings of wooden shingles for the wall by Christine Lee, falling recycled paper "leaves" by Paul Hayes looking like wisps of ash floating down from our wood burning fire places, fibrous opportunities to swim vicariously in the big blue by Tanya Aguiñiga, and Tom Hill's journey in painted sculpted metal to magical jungle forests in search of exotic insect life, rare creatures and strange tropical birds. But watch out-- even though rendered in style, these endangered species may well bite those unprepared. Nice awareness of earthly issues displayed with style and ingenuity.

Review by RWM: Cool art, small and affordable. There's some kind of party going on in Adrianna Bamber's images and you're more than welcome to join in. All sorts of creatures and people gathered together for a fun, but somewhat odd time.
