Comment by AB: Opening night preview reception benefitting the de Young Museum and the Palace of the Legion of Honor. I hear that as the evening progressed, the event became so mobbed that it was difficult to make your way around (as well it should be; it's definitely worth attending). The show runs through Sunday May 19. Plenty to see from local, regional, national as well as international galleries. Support this fair, aka do more than just look-- BUY. We want them back every year, and better and better and better. For those of you keeping score at home, tonight's preview is co-chaired by "Silicon Valley power couple" Zachary Bogue and Marissa Mayer and benefits the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
