    Modernbook Gallery : Tom Chambers.

Comment by AB: Tom Chambers is a master at materializing magical realities. If he can think them, he can bring them to life in photographs for the rest of us to marvel at. This exhibit also marks the release of Chambers' new book, Entropic Kingdom, available for purchase at the gallery. Worth a visit.

Adler & Co. Gallery : Kelly Reemtsen - It's All Up to You.

Comment by AB: No heads and plenty of meds. It's not easy being attractive, charming and in charge of domestic heavy labor all at the same time.

Rena Bransten Gallery : Amparo Sard - Spacing the Impasse; The Bridge.

Artists: John Bankston, Don Ed Hardy, Hung Liu, Sam Perry, Tracey Snelling, Tara Tucker, Marci Washington,Chris Thorson, artists from Creative Growth, artists from the San Francisco Arts Education Project.

Comment by AB: In the front gallery, Spanish artist Amparo Sard shows sensitive plaster sculptures and intricate figural works on paper comprised entirely of pinholes. The essence of her art revolves around difficult situations that women can find themselves in, and the oppressive consquences of indecision. In the rear gallery, enjoy a group exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Patricia Sweetow Gallery : Bill Thompson and Emily Wilson - Topography of Painting.

Comment by AB: Opposite ends of the control continuum here. Hi-gloss sculptural works by Bill Thompson epitomize meticulousness, planning and the rigors of perfection while Emily Wilson's expressionistic explorations embrace the fortuitousness of accident and chance.
