Catharine Clark Gallery : leonardogillesfleur - SNOWBALL.

Review by RWM: Think life at times gets a little dicey? You are not alone. Certain of the artworks displayed by leonardogillesfleur (Leonardo Giacomuzzo and Gilles-fleur Boutry) capture the challenges and pressures on modern day parents. Or you can stand in a room surrounded by police with guns, all pointed at your chest. You probably did nothing to deserve this either. Sad to see an amazing but emaciated feline on display under the gun a well. And then experience a multi-screen video which may mark our disenfranchisement with the car, as we witness vehicles being destroyed before our eyes. You'll even see a full-size car which metaphorically can drive in opposite directions (and maybe in real life as well). Crossing the streets in San Francisco will likely make you wish that this was the case with more of the cars you've had too close encounters with.

Misho Gallery : P.K.Frizzell - Invisible Light.

Review by RWM, images c/o Misho Gallery: Believe it or not, here is a collection of abrstracts that seem like outdoor city pictures caught on film. P.K.Frizzell appreciates and replicates the ordinary surfaces, and one is caught by the somber but self reflective mood. Normal things are more interesting under such introspection.
