Hosfelt Gallery : Rina Banerjee - Human Likeness
Comment by AB: Strange and unusual materials and compositions blend beautifully together in unconventional ways. Rina Banerjee's assemblages and works on paper perhaps exemplify her perspective on the world today, that no matter who you are or what you are, you deserve to be welcomed, accepted and considered part of the whole. But clearly the scenarios she materializes are not without turmoil.

Incline Gallery : Push/Pull - Laurel Shear and Melissa Wyman
Comment by AB: Melissa Wyman uses scrap hardware as the basis for her art, resting it on various surfaces and combining with various liquids to produce corrosive effects. She tells me a significant part of her practice focuses on "combative" aspects of interacting and making art, where two or more artists collaborate in oppositional ways. Also on the docket are colorful abstractions with representational overtones by Laurel Shear.
