Comment by AB: So Far, this has been San Francisco's best art fair year ever, and here comes yet another exemplary addition to the calendar. A roster of top photography galleries from around the world has travelled to our rain-drenched soggy-town to show an impressive range of work by noted international photographers. See everything from traditional to cutting-edge works. Outstanding all the way. Hopefully we'll be seeing the Photofairs return engagement next year... and the year after that... and so on and so forth ad infinitum. Loved it.

San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery : Jim Marshall's 1967

Comment by AB: Trip on back to 1967 San Francisco, the heyday of the Haight Ashbury Hippie Era, through the camera lens of famed rock & roll photographer Jim Marshall. A successful commercial photographer once told me that Marshall always venerated his subjects, portraying them at their absolute best. Indeed he did. Definitely worth seeing.
