    Mirus Gallery : LOCAL.

Artists: Apex One, Chor Boogie, Adam Hunter Caldwell, David Choong Lee, Casey Cripe, Nome Edonna, Joe Hengst, Mica Lebrun, Justin Lovato, Mars-1, Robert Minervini, Michael Page, Ferris Plock, Kevin Earl Taylor.

Review by RWM: Great show of psychedelic art that will have you exploring your psyche to find explanations. The art takes all forms while the color work is wild and unexpected. Nice to see the freeform shapes and inspirations. Good show for those who may want to project onto the canvas, as many of the images have multiple meanings and interpretations. One can enjoy the process of exploration and discovery within these assembled works.

Comment by AB: Area visionaries prognosticate on new ways of seeing and perhaps even glimpse us a bit on what's to come.

4X5 Gallery : Motion Studies - Ari Salomon.

Review by RWM: Fun to see the vivid colors and neon-like effects. Bright Lights, Big City. There is much life and action in the art on display. One finds movement and activity in the light box images mounted on the walls. In contrast to artists who work in neon, this art captures the frenetic movement and power in the backlit images. The work is startling and diverse with great use of light and color.

Joel B Garzoli Fine Art : John Wimberley.

Comment by AB: John Wimberley's photographs seem like meditations on the beauty and spirituality of life. He's been at it for fifty years. Real people and places portrayed in mystical magical ways.
