Comment by AB: This heavenly blend of art, design and pure spaciousness not only replaces but also thoroughly reconstitutes and reenergizes the former SF 20/21 show. Architected by impresario event producer Stanlee Gatti, this is not one of those skinny-aisled bazaar-like affairs crammed to the rafters with dealers, but rather is limited to a select group of exhibitors situated throughout the pavilion with ample areas in between where attendees can relax, lounge and savor the experience. Purveyors of vintage and modern design are interspersed with contemporary art galleries in a setting that seems more like a museum than a trade show.

Now as I've always said, the only way we get to keep brilliant productions like this, and the only way exhibitors this good will come back to San Francisco for more, is if we buy their stuff. There is absolutely no reason why this city cannot continue to attract top-shelf dealers and galleries to this and similar events. While I'm on this jag, there's also no reason why glorious Ess Eff cannot become a major international exhibition destination. So please-- instead of jetting off to Lord-knows-where for your blue-chip knickknacks, let's instead entice those bauble brokers into coming here. It's time to get serious, open your wallets (you've got plenty of discretionary scratch), and support the incredible hard work and dedication that so many talented individuals invest in our town in order to make shows of this caliber possible.
